As part of every aerial survey we produce accurate height models registered to the Ordnance Survey National Grid or Irish National Grid coordinate systems, which we can process to produce contour, flow lines, catchments, slope, habitat maps and many other useful outputs.
Using the aerial survey outputs of orthomosaics, height models and point clouds we can digitise habitat types, landform features such as peatbog hags, bare peat, water, scrub, exposed mineral and any other visible features in your chosen GIS formats.
The Wildscape survey team have been flying survey quality fixed wing and multi-rotor drones since 2012, producing high quality orthomosaics, height models, habitat maps and other GIS outputs for environment and countryside management. We believe that we were the first team to offer these services in the environmental and conservation markets in the UK.
We fly fixed wing drones with RTK or post processed GPS positioning, allowing us to produce centimetre accuracy orthomosaics and digital surface models. With fixed wing drones we have surveyed sites up to 60km square and produced habitat maps and other outputs in a wide range of GIS formats.
