Over the past 12 years we have carried out a wide range of surveys for clients. The following list provides an idea of the types of surveys that we specialise in. We can normally add value to surveys where GIS processing, data capture or countryside management knowledge is required, so please give us a call to chat through your requirements.
We survey sites in preparation for management planning, invasive species management, to monitor habitat, site features, infact anything that can be seen from the air.
We survey upland and lowland peatland, providing data for restoration plans and ongoing monitoring of existing restored areas. As part of these surveys we normally add value by generating catchments, flow lines, contours and slope models to assist in the restoration planning process. We can also survey peat depth and generate peatland code maps.
We provide accurate surveys of surface height change for beaches, waste sites and other materials. From this information we calculate the volume changes along with accuracy assessments based on proven statistical methods.
Aerial survey is perfect for creating a snapshot of common land or protected sites for stock and wildlife counts. Surveys can be visible and/or thermal, revealing every animal.
Surveys in the coastal zone include dune height and habitat mapping, intertidal mapping including saltmarsh and cliff surveys.
Aerial survey of off-road tracks, footpaths and other access for surface maintenance, assessment of erosion damage and general management.
